4 bedrooms · sleeps 8-10
sea views · mountain view · half moon pool
The villa is elevated above Kamala’s village below and offers ocean and mountain views. The half-moon infinity pool is flanked by an entertainment deck and a private entrance to the main bedroom. Floating cement stepping stones split the pool in two and separate a smaller wading pool that includes a large underwater skylight allowing natural light through to one of the ground floor rooms.
The semi-detached living space on the top floor not only features an outdoor entertainment area, but an open-plan living and dining room, with floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors. Open the doors to this spacious living area and allow the outdoors in. Views of the pool. its surrounding foliage, and the Andaman Sea, make an unforgettable spot for a dinner party.
The open-plan kitchen of this villa is modern and functional. It is stocked with glasses, cutlery and crockery ready for entertaining a large group. The eight-seater lounge and dining room table for up to 12 guests are complemented by a small bar and barbecue area outside, allowing for several different dining options and inside-outside entertaining. Polished wooden floorboards lie below well-appointed furnishings with a modern television and sound system.
Opposite the living and dining area, on the other side of the pool and taking up the other half of the top floor of the villa, sits the master bedroom. Finished with wooden furnishings, the bedroom interior features lime and burnt orange themes mixed with Balinese and Thai ornaments. A separate office space to one side, ocean views and a beautifully appointed en suite bathroom.
The ground floor of the villa hosts the spacious second master bedroom that includes a king-sized bed and couch. The highlight however is the en-suite bathroom with its enormous two-adult bathtub overlooking nothing but Phuket’s thick green jungle. Huge glass windows alongside the bath allow for an incredible and untouched view, but complete privacy. Draw a bath here, take in your jungle-like surroundings, and forget there’s anyone else in the villa.
Two other bedrooms complete the lower floor, both with en suite bathrooms. One of these bedrooms includes a small living area under a skylight that looks into the wading pool above it.
|Baan Sairung has a Nespresso machine for making espressos and cappuccinos. However the coffee pods for this machine are not available at any local store. We can sell you Nespresso Kazar pods for 25 baht each. They come in boxes of 10. We are not in the habit of selling coffee, but we charge for this to replenish the owner’s supply. If you are coming from outside of Thailand, we suggest your bring your own pods as they are most probably less expensive in your home country.
We also have an Aerocinno for frothing milk.
|Bring a phone or iPod if you want to play your favorite music.
Baan Sairung’s music system is a Marshall Stanwell. You can attach your phone or iPod to it either by cable or bluetooth. Please note that the input selector on the system does not light red when you choose bluetooth. However it does work. When connecting by bluetooth it will identify itself as STANWELL on your phone or music player.
If you wish to take it outside, the power cable detaches from the back of the unit and you can use the extra power cable sitting near it. Please do not disturb the neighbors when playing music outside.
|Watch Netflix on our TV
Baan Sairung is equipped with a Roku device that allows you you watch Netflix movies and television for free in the villa. To use it, set the TV input to HDMI3 and touch the "Netflix" button on the Roku remote.
